Mom Dad,

Feliz NaviDad!! I'm so glad we got to speak yesterday! What a boost. It is so uplifting, inspiring, and motivating to speak with the people who love you and those you love. It's tough here not having that. I have been chastised on several occasions but only once has someone taken the time to try to understand and help me and that was wonderful.

We had a crazy day today and so I want to try to relate just a little of what we did.

The highlight was going to see the new Disney Pixar Movie Coco. It was super weird being in a movie theater and being surrounded by all the noise of the world again. As for the movie I was doubtful at first because it was dubbed into Spanish. I am happy to report however that I loved it and cannot recommend it enough. I hope it's as good in english as it was in Spanish. We all cried during the movie and most of us are elders so you know it was good. In short it is inspirational and centered on the importance of families. In the world of 2017 with all the crap that most movies contain this one felt inspired because it not only had none of the bad but it was focused on good. I think you'll love it.

Also, Last night after we talked we went to a members house and made tamales with her. It was awesome and they were so good. I now know how to make tortillas(by hand), Tamales, pinatas and more or less chocoflan. One of the sons has a birthday wednesday so we are making him chocoflan tonight in the chapel as we write. It's awesome to be doing service and baking all at once. As a result I am also now the owner of a 9 by 13 glass pan which cost me 3 dollars and which I hope to be using on a regular basis.

Also, we have an investigator named Esmeralda right now who has addictions to meth and alcohol and consequently have been trying to help her. In doing so we have been studying the 12 step program and specifically finding scriptures that relate to each of the 12 steps. What a powerful program it is!! Even if you don't struggle with addictions those are some powerful steps for any kind of change.

As for worldly things

Dad, as you assemble a collection of music to send to me send a lot of choral stuff along with our favorites. Definitely the messiah too. Don't spend too much in the way of resources though, Have aaron show you how to download music from youtube and see what you think about the quality. And of course as always thank you for everything that you are still doing for me.

also, please send me a list of all the emails you have of people who want to be in my group emails. I am going to try to be better at those.
